JOINT PROGRAMME FOR REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH

PROJECT GOAL & PURPOSES
Goal: to have contributed to the Governments efforts towards the attainment of the ICPD targets and SRH related Millennium Development Goals with a rights and gender- based approach
Purpose: to have contributed to:
(i) increased availability and utilization of integrated and quality reproductive health services by women, men and adolescents and
(ii) enhanced sexual and reproductive health information, knowledge and skills to bring about behavioral change in SRH practices.
Project strategies
The strategic focus is on capacity building through provision of technical support, training and institutional strengthening of GO’s and NGOs involved in SRH service provision throughout the land.
Provision of obstetric material, SRH commodities and medical expendable and non expendable goods.
